City Fitness Life – Taking the Stairs Versus the Escalator Walking Versus Waiting for Bus Public Transportation

Always look for opportunities to maximize your time, productivity, health, happiness. Success leaves clues, and its not hard to conclude that people that routinely choose to take the escalator, elevators, and cars, bus, and trains over walking, walking up and down stairs, and walking or running instead of waiting for and / taking public transportation, bus trains, automobiles.

In this video I discuss taking the stairs versus escalator and how it will get you in better health and conditioning than other “lazier” options. Adding a few thousand stair steps to your daily, weekly, monthly routine can pay back in noticeable enhanced fitness condition, energy, and positive mood. All this will translate to a higher quality of life.

I also illustrate in this video and the one I will post after, that waiting for buses, trains, street cars, and public transportation as a whole can be a massive waste of time when calculated wait times amount to hours per month. In this video my destination is 15 minutes walking away, or I can wait for a bus, and that may, or may not shorten my trip by any meaningful amount of value. Value meaning, I could have been idle waiting for a bus, seated while waiting and travelling, OR keep moving, walking to my destination and getting a nice dose of fitness built into my lifestyle.

Don’t let the city life keep you waiting and wasting time. Keep moving, keep active, and create time, while creating a healthier and fitter you 😊
