The gym is a place to engage in challenging activities that will, in turn, make your better with higher fitness capacities, stronger muscles, higher conditioning, increase flexibility, and any other fitness qualities you are working on.
Here’s the problem: Just coming to the gym and going through the motions will not raise your fitness levels, for that to happen you must train hard, adapt, and train harder again, and adapt, and so on. Coming to the gym because you want to lie to yourself that you are “working out” is a total waste of time. Laying on the floor with long undeserved rest periods, talking to other members as if your at a social event, focusing more intensely on your mobile apps than on your task at hand, the workout, and then people wonder why the don’t make the “gains” they “deserve”. You are only rewarded for hard, smart work, anything less than that was a waste of time, time that if you wanted to lay down, talk to others, use your apps, and other shocking things people do in the gym this generation, could be done more comfortably and appropriately at a better location, such as in the comfort of your own home, with family and friends, cafes, libraries, restaurants, parks.
The gymnasium is for conducting serious, intensive exercise, with meaning, purpose, and specific goals. Please don’t come to the gym to waste valuable exercise space and time and ruin not just your own “workout”, but other people that KNOW WHY THEY ARE IN THE GYM!!!!!
