Finding Strength Exercise Helps with Grieving Process

I wish more people would turn to the powers of exercise, any form of physical activity, when dealing with heightened levels of stress, and forced to face life’s big challenges and struggles.

More than just a Personal Trainer / Strength and Conditioning Coach, I am a role model leading by example, and that was the inspiration behind the last few published workouts.

After the passing of my grandmother this week, the loss hit me hard, and will hurt my heart till the end. Grieving the loss of a loved one, especially a parent, grandparent, spouse can be the most stressful and traumatic event in your life. How you deal and cope with stress will also determine your current and future health.

I prefer to keep my personal and family life private, but as a Coach, I felt it was my duty to show by example, the workouts during the week pre and post funeral and my current mood, thoughts, and behaviors.

I get deep in this unplanned video, and trust that regardless of what challenges life has brought you, exercising can help prepare, strengthen, and change you for the better to face the challenges head on, without damaging your health and other areas of your life.

I hope you enjoy the video as much as it was my pleasure to show you the positive effects of exercise during my difficult time 😊

  1. Having read this I believed it was extremely enlightening.
I appreciate you spending some time and effort to put this information together.
I once again find myself personally spending way too much time both reading and commenting.
But so what, it was still worthwhile!
