Man in the mirror- Staring at myself, wondering why I’m not making the changes I want to make?

Last August I spent all my free time investigating on buying my own home gym, opening my own studio. It’s difficult, time consuming, and a major investment. I’m not sure what side tracked me away from my dream, my wants, my needs.
When the pandemic hit us, I prayed people would change for the better. Some of the changes I hoped people would make is learn to exercise and workout without a gym, a lesson I teach all my clients, a lesson my clients master. Missed workouts are a missed opportunity to get better.
After 4 months and going of the pandemic, the shutdown, the “new normal”, ask yourself what positive changes you made during the last four months, and what changes you will make going forward.
The last four months has proven that you can’t depend on people, businesses, services. Being self sufficient if gyms, restaurants, entertainment venues close should be everyone’s priority after this hard lesson, as should be addictions such as alcohol and online use, both of which are heavily promoted, but dangers and life wasting.
I have never enjoyed public gyms, ever! The last time I worked in one was 19 years ago. My home garage was a gym from 1988 to 1995. One of my biggest regrets in life is selling my gym.
Behind every challenge is an opportunity. This pandemic has challenged all of us. Don’t miss the lessons of being self-dependent and self-sufficient!
This shutdown has brought me closer to who I want to be, and further from people and things that don’t serve me.
Don’t let nothing take you away from the things you need and want.
Always a solution, it’s up to you to find it and make the change.
